<div><strong>GET BETTER at CHESS VIDEO &#8211; 2</strong>    [Chess DVD]</div>
<div><strong>Chess Video 2</strong> is one of our top selling products. These Chess Lessons were created the same year that I played Chess at the Charlotte Chess Club, and played in many tournaments. I had the pleasure of playing many Class A, Experts, and National Masters that year. We at Forked King, Inc. believe our Chess Lessons will help you Get Better at Chess. <strong>(This Chess DVD is 89 minutes long, this Chess DVD is good for children and adults!)</strong></div>
<div>
<br />
The <strong>Chess lessons</strong> in <strong>Volume 2</strong> are as follows:<br />
</br>
</div>
<p>1. <strong>Double Attacks </strong>- This Chess video teaches strategic Chess instruction about how to double attack your opponent. It also describes move-by-move decisions and considerations, bad and good pawn structures, and describes finding the solution in a Chess game. King safety, tempo, and Chess opening through endgame strategies are provided to help you get better. <strong>(This Chess Video is over 29 minutes in length)</strong></p>
<p>2. <strong>Middle Game Tactics</strong> &#8211; This Chess video contains the development of a tactical and positional game played at expert level, where both players battle over critical squares, and utilize relative pins, and forks that win Chess games.<strong> (This Chess Video is over 20 minutes long)</strong></p>
<p>3. <strong>Sacrificing to Create an Advantage </strong>- Bernard Baker describes and demonstrates the logic behind sacrificing Chess pieces, and uses the advantage to bring demise to the opponents King! Here, a good Chess position is established so the tactics become alive. Converting a locked position (through sacrificing) into a victory is also discussed. <strong>(This Chess Video is over 20 over minutes long)</strong></p>
<p>4. <strong>Space</strong> &#8211; Bernard explains the importance of controlling space on a chessboard. Having space opens up a plethora of attacking opportunities, and being without space can suffocate your efforts into a defeat. Learn the importance of gaining SPACE in Chess to make you better in Chess. <strong>(This Chess Video is just about 20 minutes long)</strong></p>

<p><strong><strong><strong><strong><br />
</strong></strong></strong></strong></p>
<div>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> <strong>Get Better at Chess Video 5 </strong>contains 5 Chess Videos. This Chess video has some strong Chess lessons. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> 1.<strong> Kan Variation of the Sicilian Defense </strong>- The Kan is an effective defensive Sicilian defense. I have played it many, many times. This is in contrast to many other Sicilian Defenses which tend to be more aggressive in nature. The Kan is a hedgehog, (like a porcupine), and has a waiting element to it. Tactics include pawn storms, hedgehog pawn structure, intermezzo, battling for important squares&#8230; etc. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> 2.<strong> The King&#8217;s Gambit </strong>- The &#8220;Immortal Game&#8221; was played by Adolf Anderson and Lionel Kieseritzky in London, England in 1851. This is probably one of the most famous Chess games of all time, and it provides a great example of the King’s Gambit. Four improbably piece sacrifices lead Adolf Anderssen to victory. The Chess tactics included are removing the guard, piece sacrifice, attacking backwards pawns, and rapid development of all Chess pieces. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> 3.<strong>Reti vs. Tartakower 1910 </strong>- This famous game is a miniature variation of the Caro-kann Defense played by Richard Reti. This short by fun game is analyzed by Bernard as discover Check, sacrifice and other tactics are discussed. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> 4. <strong>Samisch vs. Nimzovich 1923 </strong>- This famous game exemplifies the idea of Zugzwang (German &#8211; &#8220;I don&#8217;t have a good move&#8221;). In fact, this Chess game is commonly referred to as the &#8220;Immortal Zugzwang Game&#8221;. In this case, a position was created preventing white from making any move that would not put in a worse position. </span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> 5. <strong>Samisch Variation vs. the King&#8217;s Indian Defense</strong> &#8211; This Chess Lesson presents two examples of the Samisch Variation vs. the King&#8217;s Indian Defense. In the Samisch, White plays an early f3, and Castle&#8217;s Queenside. Both Chess armies collide in this as white pawn storms, with a Pillsbury Breakthrough, and black fianchettoes, and attacks on the Queenside. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"> <strong>These lessons are for children and adults that want to get better at Chess. There are children and adults watching and comprehending what occurs on the Chess board.  </strong> </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
</div>
<p><strong><strong><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: x-small;"><br />

<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><strong>This Chess DVD was created for upcoming Chess players.</strong> It&#8217;s contents are detailed, but simple enough that children can understand them. I believe you will enjoy these 5 Chess lessons. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;">1. <strong>Taminov Variation of the Sicilian Defense </strong>- This Chess Lesson is an introduction of the Taminov Variation of the Sicilian Defense by way of an example game by Jan Timman and Vadim Milov. The teachings of these Chess games are what I studied to win several Chess Tournaments in the Charlotte, NC area. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;">2. <strong>King&#8217;s Indian Defense </strong>- This is an introduction to the King&#8217;s Indian Defense. (KID is one of the strongest defenses that can be played in the game of Chess. It can be played against almost any Chess Opening.) We review how the King&#8217;s Indian Defense was used in ame played by Flear and Sharar in 2001. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;">3. <strong>Rook/King Checkmate </strong>- An accurate demonstration of how to employ Chess Principles necessary to Checkmate your opponent with a King and a Rook. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;">4. <strong>Chess Tactics</strong> &#8211; A comprehensive view of Class A Level Chess with move-by-move analysis. Examples include how to use Open files, Pins, En Passant, Lunges, Intermezzos, and other Chess tactical maneuvers to your advantage. This game was played by Bernard Baker, and Clarke Brosi, at the Charlotte Chess Club, in 2004. </span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;">5. <strong>Outpositioning your Opponent </strong>- The importance of developing ALL of your pieces prior to attacking your opponent is illustrated in this Chess video. A Scotch Game from Chess Life Magazine is thoroughly analyzed, and commented on. The importance of controlling Opening Files is emphasized as well. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> 1. <strong>Pawns </strong>- This monologue explains how to create, recognize, and convert a pawn majority vs. a pawn minority into a won game. The different kinds of pawns and pawn structures are discussed as well. This Chess video will also teach you to generate good pawn positions, maintain them, and exploit your opponent’s weak ones. This will definitely improve your Chess. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> 2. <strong>The Latvian Gambit</strong> &#8211; This wild and crazy but fun opening has been labeled everything from powerful to unsound, but in this selection, we share move by move analysis of a game where a Class D player executes the Latvian Gambit and obtains a win over a National Master. The Chess game was selected from Chess Life magazine. </span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> 3. <strong>The Nimzovich Defense vs. E4</strong> &#8211; A fine alternative for playing against E4 is evaluated, and commented on. This game is played at Expert Level, and was played Grand Master Aaron Nimzovitch. This example demonstrates how to convert a bad Knight to a good Knight, and how that Knight can be used to win the game. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> 4. <strong>Trading a Queen for Lesser Pieces is not Always Bad </strong>- This entry was played by National Master Daniel Tapia, and provides us a view at how to win without your Queen. Here, he trades his Queen, and uses his resources to win by force. He shows how to use passed pawns to the fullest potential. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> 5. <strong>Pins, Skewers and Open Files</strong> &#8211; This Chess lesson offers a very complete and thorough analysis of the Dutch Defense. It contains Chess instruction on positional piece play, as both sides attempt to exercise Chess tactics. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"><span style="font-family: Bookman Old Style; font-size: 2;"> <strong>We believe that this video will help you to improve your Chess!</strong> </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 2;"> This Chess DVD provides children and adults with sound Chess teaching. Bernard Baker describes <em>Chess Tactics, Chess Openings, and Chess Moves on a single Chess DVD. This Chess DVD contains 4 good Chess Lessons.</em></span></p>
<p>1. <strong>The Power of the Pin</strong> &#8211; Here, we instruct on the different kinds of Pins, how they work, and how to maximize your winning potential with them. Did you know there are 3 types of Chess pins?</p>
<p>2. <strong>Middlegame Tactics II</strong> &#8211; This lesson demonstrates how the center of the Chessboard (focal point of the Chess Opening) expands to the 16 squares, which is the focal point of the middle game. It provides examples of good positional piece play, and shows hot to attack isolated pieces, plus more.</p>
<p>3. <strong>The London System</strong> &#8211; In this system, the center of the chessboard is battled over, and white provides a clear exhibition of how to destroy a fiancettoed position. This game was played by National Master Frankie Newton. It describes how placing your Knights on the rim are truly dim.</p>
<p>4. <strong>Zukertort Variation of the Colle System</strong> &#8211; This lesson reviews an example game of the Zukertort Variation of the Colle. In this discussion, Bernard shares Chess knowledge and many key Chess tactics as they were implemented in this Chess game. Tactics include intermezzo, pin, Colle triangle, passed pawn, and other Chess Tactics.</p>
<p><strong>We believe all of our Chess videos will benefit and help you to get better at Chess!<strong> </strong></strong></p>
